      38,000 copies of Fine Properties are printed quarterly and are distributed at approximately 500 locations in the City of Charlottesville and the Central Virginia counties of: Albemarle, Amherst, Augusta, Buckingham, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, Madison, Nelson, and Orange. Distribution locations include REALTOR® offices, businesses, hotels, B&B's, grocery stores, restaurants, and major street locations.

Minimum Price:

Properties advertised in Fine Properties must have a listed price of at least $400,000. This restriction does not apply to land advertised in the publication.

Settings for PDF ads:

Color images using "Bicubic Downsampling" to 170 pixels per inch for images above 255 pixels per inch. Image quality: MediumCompression: Automatic (JPEG)

The use of gradients is discouraged as it may cause problems in your PDF file that may not become evident until the ad has gone to the printer.

Monochrome images downsampled to 600 ppi for images above 900 ppi Compression: CCITT Group 4.

Subset fonts when percent of characters used is less than 100%.

Accepted ad formats:

We will accept Adobe InDesign, QuarkXpress, PDF, and EPS files as ads. When submitting ads from InDesign or Quark, please make sure all linked images and text are included in the package.

We do not accept Microsoft Publisher documents. Producing ads and PDFs from Microsoft products such as Word and Publisher will NOT yield good results.
