School Policies
The Charlottesville Area Association of REALTORS® Real Estate School policies are as follows:
Payment: Payment for classes is due in full at the time of registration to guarantee your seat. We accept Visa, MasterCard, checks, and cash.
Cancellation: The Real Estate School reserves the right to cancel classes with a full refund. If you are unable to attend a class for which you are registered, your cancellation must be received within 48 hours to avoid full cost of the class. No credits or refunds will be given if you do not show up for class.
Inclement Weather: Please call 434-817-2227 prior to class.
Attendance: Students must arrive on time. Anyone arriving more than 10 minutes late for class will not be admitted. Anyone spending excessive time away from class while in session will not receive credit.
Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI): Per NAR/VAR policy, written cancellation requests will be accepted through 5:00 PM on the 8th business day preceding each module in order to refund tuition. All paid tuition, other than the $25 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit will be refunded. Please note that no refunds will be given for cancellations made after the close of business on the 8th day preceding the module. No-shows or late arrivals will not receive a refund.
Cell Phones: Please switch to silent or vibrate. Excessive time spent away from class while still in session will result in you not receiving credit for attending.
