CAAR NAMES REALTOR® INDUSTRY VETERAN AS CEO

Anne Gardner to Lead Charlottesville Area Association of REALTORS®

 

 

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – The Charlottesville Area Association of REALTORS® (CAAR) Board of Directors has announced that Anne Gardner will serve as the new CEO of CAAR, effective October 11, 2010.

 

Gardner has made a career of association management and spent her last 10 years in the REALTOR® industry, working as an executive for the Northern Virginia Association of REALTORS®.

 

“We are very excited to have hired someone with Anne’s experience and background to be our new CEO,” said Greg Slater, 2010 CAAR President. “We think her experience as an executive for the Northern Virginia Association of REALTORS®, her education, and the skill set she displayed during the search process make her the right person for the job. We look forward to her leadership in the industry.”

 

Gardner succeeds Dave Phillips, who recently left CAAR to lead the Pennsylvania Association of REALTORS®.

 

The Charlottesville Area Association of REALTORS® (CAAR) is a trade association for real estate professionals in the Charlottesville area (including the City of Charlottesville and the Counties of Albemarle, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, and Nelson.)
