Outlook Express

To prepare your signature:
- Start Notepad or your HTML editor
- Create a new file
- Insert the HTML code of your signature
- Save the file with the '.html' extension to the hard disk

To enable graphical signatures:
- Select Options from the Tools menu
- Switch to the Send tab
- Use the "Mail Sending Format" menu to select HTML and click "HTML Settings"
- Select the "Send pictures with messages" checkbox and click OK

To add your signature, follow these steps:
- Select Options from the Tools menu
- Switch to the Signatures tab
- Click the New button to create a new signature
- Click the Rename button and change the name for your signature (important if you want to have several signatures)
- Select the File radio button and click the Browse button
- Select ".html" in "Files of type" and specify the path to the file with your signature.

To insert your signature in your email message:
- Move the cursor in the message editor to the point where you want the signature to appear
- Open the Insert menu and select the Signatures item
- Use the submenu to select the signature you need and it will be successfully inserted

To automatically insert your signature in every new email message:
- Select Options from the Tools menu
- Switch to the Signatures tab
- Select the "Add signatures to all outgoing messages" checkbox

Outlook

To prepare your signature:

- Under HTML options select the "When an HTML message contains a picture located on the Internet, send a copy of the picture instead of the reference to its location" checkbox

- Select Options from the Tools menu
- Switch to the Mail Format tab
- Click the New button to create a new signature
- Change the name for your signature (important if you want to have several signatures)
- Select the "Use this file as template" radio button and click the Browse button
- Specify the path to the file with your signature - Click Finish

To insert your signature in your email message:
- Move the cursor in the message editor to the point where you want the signature to appear
- Open the Insert menu and select the Signatures item
- Use the submenu to select the signature you need and it will be successfully inserted

To automatically insert your signature in every new email message:
- Select Options from the Tools menu
- Switch to the Mail Format tab
- Select the signature in the "Use this signature by default" listbox

Google Mail

To insert your signature in your email message:
- Select the entire signature in the Signature Preview section and press ctrl+c.
- Open a new Gmail compose message window. Now either drag the signature in this GMail window or press Ctrl+V to paste it.

Yahoo! Mail

To add your signature, follow these steps:
- Open the "Options" menu
- Select "Signature" in Mail Options > Management
- Click "Color and Graphics"
- Select the "View HTML Source" checkbox
- Insert the HTML code of your signature in the HTML editor
- Clear the "View HTML Source" checkbox to see what the signature will look like
- Click "Save"

To insert the signature in your email message:
- Select the "Use my signature" checkbox on the message editing page.

To automatically insert the signature in every email message:
- Open the "Options" menu
- Select "Signature" in Mail Options > Management
- Click "Color and Graphics"
- Select the "Add signature to all outgoing messages" checkbox

Hotmail

To add your signature, follow these steps:
- Open the "Options" menu
- Select "Personal Signature" in Mail Options
- Click "Color and Graphics"
- Make sure that the "Show the rich-text toolbar" checkbox is unchecked.
- Insert the HTML code of your signature in the editor
- Select the "Show the rich-text toolbar" checkbox to see what the signature will look like
- Click "Ok"

Apple Mail

To add your signature, follow these steps:
- Ensure you have one signature setup in Mail
- Quit Mail
- Create a .HTML page in your favorite editor and insert the signature HTML code into it
- Open the page in Safari
- Save the page as a web archive
- Place the web archive in the ~/Library -> Mail -> Signatures directory, renaming it to match the signature you want to replace.
Note: You may have to open the plist file to determine which webarchive maps to your signature name, based on the number of signatures. Have fun!

Entourage

To prepare your signature:
- In Entourage, Choose Tools > Signatures.
- In the Signatures window, click New.
- Make sure the "Use HTML" button has been clicked.
- Create text with color and styling. Limit font use to web standard fonts.
- Choose Message > Insert > Picture. (use .jpg or .gif files)
- Name your signature and close the window.

To automatically insert your signature in every new email message:
- Choose Tools > Accounts.
- Select your email account and click the Edit button.
- Click the Options tab and choose a default signature.

Macmail

To insert your signature in your email message:
- Select the entire signature in the dashed section (on the "Generating HTML code" page)
- Drag the signature to the email.
