LEAP has just announced that four lucky area homeowners will be winners in the PowerSaver Home Energy Makeover Contest. The makeovers—one for $10,000, one for $5000 and two for $2500 each—will be performed by local LEAP-certified contractors and can encompass projects such as air sealing, insulation and upgrading of heating and cooling equipment.

There’s something special about living on the water. You can participate in recreational activities like boating, fishing, canoeing or kayaking, and depending on the lake, jet or water skiing. Whether you live on the water or right near by you can enjoy nice views or access to swimming beaches or public boat ramps if you don’t have your own dock. Other special treats may be walking or bike trails along the lake shore or the river side.
