What is the Charlottesville YPN?

The Charlottesville Young Professionals Network (YPN) helps young real estate professionals excel in their careers by giving them the tools and encouragement to become involved in four core areas:

1. REALTOR® Associations - Attend REALTOR® conferences and pursue leadership roles with their local, state, and national association.

2019 YPN Build Day2. Real Estate Industry - Take an active role in policy discussions and advocacy issues; be informed about the latest industry news and trends.

3. Peers - Network and learn from one another by attending events, participating in online communication, and seeking out mentoring opportunities.

4. Community - Become exceptional members of their community by demonstrating a high level of REALTOR® professionalism and volunteering for causes they feel passionate about.

Charlottesville YPN 2021 Calendar of Events
Thurs., Feb. 25th, 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. - Virtual February Coffee Hour Financial Fundamentals with Tracy Meade - Having trouble figuring out some of the trickier financial aspects of the independent contractor lifestyle? Tracy Meade, a local financial specialist, will help us solve the pesky riddles of personal and professional finance and how to plan for year-end!

Thurs., Mar. 25th, 4:30 - 6 p.m. - Virtual March Event- Virtual Smartini Trivia
Attendees will log into Zoom on their computer and then participate individually through Kahoot!, a trivia platform, on their preferred device (cellphone, tablet, etc.). Attendees will play in 3 rounds of 10 questions. Plus, attendees will have a chance to win some great prizes - Grand Prize and Runner Up Prize! But wait there's more - we will be collecting donations for Virginia Institute of Autism through a GoFundMe link. Regardless of how much you donate, you will be entered into a lottery to win a great prize!

Wed., Apr. 21st, 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. - Virtual April Coffee Hourwith Anne Flinn Advertising Tech Team
Attend a dedicated session on the Real Estate Market with Katie Pray! Katie is a part of the Anne Flinn Advertising Tech Team - a new CAAR affiliate. With 98% of all buyers using the Internet to search for homes, how are you reaching them? You will learn how to use digital advertising to reach consumers using Social Media, Mobile Conquesting, Social Mirror, and Native Ads. Set yourself apart from your competition by targeting recent behaviors people have shown online, targeting people by where they have recently been, Artificial Intelligence, and more, with the opportunity for your ad to appear on the Zillow App,, and!

We will be collecting donations for Yellow Door Foundation through a GoFundMe link during this event. Regardless of the amount you donate, you will be entered into a pool to win a $25 Gift Card to a local business.

YPN 2021 Pass
 YPN is offering a discounted way to attended paid YPN events! There will be 10 paid events this year (see list above), ranging from social, business development, and strategy seminars. The cost to register for each individual event is $5 virtual and $15 in-person, but the 2021 YPN Pass is only $75 - a savings of $25 for the year!
